Privacy Policy

Short version: we sell a PDF. To send it to you, we need an email address. That is essentially the whole story. The long version follows, because privacy deserves precise words.

2. Scope of this policy

It covers two situations: browsing these pages, and buying the TipsForYou PDF for $19. Each is handled differently, so we describe them separately.

3. When you browse this website

• No HTTP cookies are placed by us. No analytics, no ad tech, no fingerprinting, no embedded third-party trackers.
• Your consent choice is remembered locally in your browser (cookie_consent / cookie_consent_ts). It is not a cookie, it never leaves your device, and it clears itself after 180 days. More detail in the Cookie Policy.
• There are no accounts, no newsletter boxes, no contact forms. We collect nothing from you here.
• Our hosting provider may record ordinary server logs — IP address, browser type, timestamp of a request — to keep the site online and defend against abuse.

4. When you buy — Lemon Squeezy

Checkout is operated end to end by Lemon Squeezy LLC as our payment provider and merchant of record. Your card details are entered on their checkout page and processed by them. We never see, receive, or store them.

From Lemon Squeezy we receive the information needed to complete the sale — primarily your email address and the order record — so the PDF can reach you and so refunds can be handled. Their handling of your data is described in Lemon Squeezy’s Privacy Policy. Lemon Squeezy is based in the United States, so your purchase data is processed there under the safeguards set out in their policy.

5. When you email support

If you write to beehv06@macposthub.com, we process exactly what you choose to send us: your email address, your message, and any order reference you include. Please send only what is necessary to solve your question. We do not need, and do not want, extra personal information.

6. Why we process it

• To answer support requests and re-send the file if it went astray.
• To deliver the PDF to your email address after payment, and to send the updated edition when new tips are added.
• To process refunds within the 14-day refund window.

Legal bases where the GDPR applies: performance of our contract with you (delivery, refunds), our legitimate interests (support, security of the site), and your consent where the law requires it.

7. The product itself

TipsForYou is a PDF document. It contains text, screenshots and step-by-step instructions. It reports nothing back, phones no one home, and needs no account. Your lifetime license covers up to 5 devices, and nothing keeps count of them but you.

8. Who else is involved

• Lemon Squeezy LLC — payment provider and merchant of record for orders.
• Our hosting provider — serving these pages and keeping standard server logs.

We do not sell personal data. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to advertisers. Nobody outside the two roles above receives it, unless the law obliges us.

9. How long we keep it

We keep your email address and order reference for as long as they are needed to deliver the PDF and its updates, to provide support, and to meet legal and accounting duties in Germany. Once that need ends, the data is deleted. Support correspondence is removed when the matter is closed and no longer relevant. Server logs follow the hosting provider’s standard retention period.

10. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to your personal data, correction of anything inaccurate, deletion, a portable export, or restriction of processing. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time.

One email is enough: beehv06@macposthub.com. We reply within the statutory deadline. If you are in the EEA, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

11. Children

This is a product for adults managing their own Mac. We do not knowingly process data from children.

12. Updates to this policy

If our practices or providers change, we revise this page and move the “Last updated” date at the top. No silent edits.
